Welcome to historic Annapolis, the capital of Maryland!
For over 350 years, this seaport has been the site of many important
gatherings and now it serves as the host city for the Ninth ICS
Conference.
Annapolis is easy to reach by taxicab from BWI
Airport (about 35 minutes) and Reagan National Airport (about 60
minutes).
Historic attractions, great restaurants, colonial-era
taverns, and old-world pubs are within a short walk of the conference
hotel. Visit the US Naval Academy and see the crypt of John Paul
Jones. Sample world-famous Maryland crab cakes at the landmark Treaty
of Paris restaurant. Listen to live entertainment at the Rams Head
Tavern.
Visitor information on getting around, dining,
and tours can be found at the Annapolis
& Anne Arundel County Conference & Visitors Bureau.
Annapolis is the perfect conference destination. You will find wonderful
charm and beauty in an historical maritime setting. Come to Annapolis
in 2005 and make a connection to CS and OR/MS and to our nation's
history.
