The threadsafe GAUSS Engine
lets applications written in C, C++, Java,
or Visual Basic harness the powerful mathematical,
optimization and data analysis abilities
of the GAUSS Matrix Programming Language.
Applications compile and execute GAUSS code
"under the hood", invisible to
end users and taking full advantage of GAUSS
number crunching abilities. The threadsafe
feature of the GAUSS Engine allows for the
development of multi-user and multi-threaded
applications. Calculations in one GAUSS
workspace have no effect on data and calculations
in another GAUSS workspace. Data may be
explicitly passed back and forth between
the application and numerous independent
GAUSS workspaces. |

Dash Optimization develops and markets Xpress-MP,
the world's leading software product for
modeling and optimization. Xpress-MP solves
large-scale optimization problems and enables
better business decisions and resulting
financial benefits in areas such as supply
chain management, operations, logistics
and asset management. It is used in diverse
sectors such as manufacturing, processing,
distribution, retailing, transport, finance
and investment. The Dash Optimization booth
will feature live demonstrations of Dash's
Xpress-MP products. Along with linear and
mixed Integer programming, Dash also offers
quadratic programming, parallel processing
(for MIP problems), non-linear (NLP) and
mixed integer non-linear programming, stochastic
programming, and constraint programming
capabilities. All of these components will
be showcased along with Dash's modeling
and programming language Mosel and Xpress-IVE
windows development environment.

Frontline Systems developed the Solver in
Microsoft Excel, the world's most widely
used optimization software. Our Premium
Solver products are compatible upgrades
to the Excel Solver covering the full spectrum
of optimization problems, from linear programming
to genetic algorithms, from small prototypes
to 100,000-variable models. Our solver DLL
products supply easy-to-use optimization
for your applications written in Visual
Basic, C/C++ and other languages. See how
optimization can help you "do more
with less," and how working with Excel
can cut down the cost and complexity of
using optimization technology. Pick up a
free evaluation CD at our booth. |

Paragon is the developer of AIMMS , the modeling tool of choice for OR professionals to develop optimization based decision support applications and advanced planning systems. It is used by leading companies in a wide range of industries in areas such as supply chain management, production planning, logistics, forestry planning and risk-, revenue- and asset- management.
“AIMMS is our product of choice for both prototyping and fielding customized models. We prefer the algebraic modeling style for ease of development and maintenance of our process and blending models. We save time and get the applications deployed into the refineries much quicker where they can begin making money.” (Steven Kleinman , BP, Chicago , USA - Supply Chain Specialist) |

XLMiner is a fully integrated add-in to Microsoft
Excel offering classification (classification
trees, discriminant analysis, logistic regression,
neural networks, naïve Bayes, k-nearest
neighbors), prediction (multiple linear regression
with subset selection, k-nearest neighbors,
regression trees), association rules, principal
components, k-means clustering, hierarchical
clustering, partitioning into training, validation
and test data sets, stratified sampling for
rare outcomes, missing data imputation. Statistical
and data-mining routines were developed by
Cytel (specialists in advanced statistical
software), so you get Excel's familiar interface
coupled with sound engines. XLMiner is far
less expensive than other serious packages
with so much comprehensive coverage, and offers
a far richer array of utilities and analytical
methods than specialist products. |
