Nomination Deadline: February 18, 2005
The Young Researcher Roundtable is a special opportunity for junior faculty to join a group of well-established researchers and practitioners in a roundtable forum. Each Young Researcher is nominated by their university Department Chair or other senior colleague. The Young Researcher receives a plaque and a 50% reduction of the conference registration fee at $345. A special networking event is also planned, where Young Researchers can interact with top academic and industry professionals. Awardees are expected to participate fully in the conference, both the education and social program, for the entire conference.
The Roundtable--and the entire conference--provide young researchers with new perspectives and insights into critical business problems facing industry today, enabling them to broaden their research agendas. The conference is also a rich resource for real-world case studies of O.R. applications for use in teaching.
