Information Systems Society Distinguished Fellow

by Fang Fang on October 12th, 2009

As I mentioned in the last post. The field of Information Systems is a young and interdisciplinary area which is closely related to OR/MS. Yesterday, during the lunch meeting, the Information Systems Society (ISS) gives out ISS fellow awards to some of the distinguished people who have made SIGNIFICANT impact to this emerging field. Some of them, in their restless career even oversaw the emerging of this field and helped to bring this field to where it is now. I feel great need to acknowledge those people on our conference blog: (Sorry about my lossy photograph skills)
