The second interactive session. The winner is…
“Simulation and Optimization of Nurse-to-Patient Assignments.” by Durai Sundaramoorthi from Missouri Western State University.
I would have to say that there were way too many interesting topics and the presenters all have done a great job. I love them all. I believe that there should be multiple winners. However, there was only one. Great job, Durai and all the presenters!
In addition, I want to thank all the judges for the great job they have done. Erica and I really appreciated it.

Thanks for organizing a nice session. There were many wonderful presentations. I have lost (and learned new things) several times in past. Even this INFORMS, I lost in a couple of other things. Definitely I learned many things and I will come back stronger next year in those.
I have learned that there is not much difference between winning and losing. It is more important to keep trying and applying OR/MS techniques to help solve problems.
