Submission Guidelines

As the premier OR/MS conference, INFORMS Annual Meeting 2011 invites submissions in all areas of the field, broadly defined. We particularly encourage submissions in areas that illustrate the use of OR/MS in keeping with the theme “TransfORmation.” Please note that only one contributed abstract will be accepted from the same presenting author.

Registration Required to Present - Visa Information
All attendees, including speakers and session chairs, must register and pay the registration fee. If you need an early confirmation for visa or budgetary reasons, please indicate this in the “Comments” field on the online form.

Submission Deadline: May 16, 2011 - Submit Early, Capacity Limited!
In recent years, the INFORMS Annual Meeting has grown significantly, making it difficult to accommodate all the talks submitted. It may be necessary to accept submissions in the order in which they are received if there is not sufficient capacity to schedule all the talks submitted by May 16. Therefore we encourage you to submit early, well before the May 16 deadline.

Program Online
Once the Organizing Committee has scheduled the program for talks, the schedule will be posted online (August, 2011). All authors will receive an email directing them to the online program for the date and time of their presentations, registration, A/V, hotel information and other speaker guidelines.
