INFORMS Career Center holds its 2013 Annual Meeting Job Fair October 6-9 in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
The Annual Meeting Job Fair provides the opportunity to meet and collect resumes from many job seekers in a short period of time early in the meeting and the ability to set up private interviews later in the meeting.
Participation in the Annual Meeting Job Fair raises the visibility of your organization with meeting participants, who span the gamut of interested job seekers from highly seasoned professionals in the academic or industrial space to freshly minted PhD's and masters students just entering the work force. The event will be broadly advertised, not only to job seekers already signed up in INFORMS Career Center, but also to professionals and students attending the meeting.
As an employer participating in the Annual Meeting Job Fair you will be able to:
- Provide your materials in a fun and energetic Career Fair-type setting
- Arrange on-site meetings in private booths
- Find the professionals you need at all levels from seasoned to entry level - over 4,000 are expected to attend
- Enjoy a discounted rate if you also registered previously for Analytics Connect, the career event held at each INFORMS Analytics Conference in the spring
- Enjoy discounted rate packages to also list your jobs in INFORMS Carrer Center
Registration and Payment
Organizations must have registered for the INFORMS Career Center Service to take part in the Annual Meeting Job Fair by emailing email@example.com. We will provide a table on which you can display informational material, two or more chairs, and signage for your organization.

Job Seekers (either active or passive)
Annual Meeting Job Fair is FREE for individual meeting registrants and one of our most popular member benefits. Job seekers should register in INFORMS Career Center so employers will know you are attending. Be sure to post your resume or anonymous career profile that will lead employers to you! Job seekers should review Career Center Resources prior to attending the job fair to make sure your resume and interviewing skills are in tip top shape.
As an individual participating in the Annual Meeting Job Fair you will be able to:
- Gather materials and make vital connections in a fun and energetic Career Fair-type setting

- Research the files of from 60-70 top employers expected participate
- Drop your resume off if you are unable to connect in person with certain employers
