Job Fair

INFORMS Job Placement Service will be holding our 2012 INFORMS Job Fair in conjunction with the INFORMS Fall Annual Meeting.

The Annual Meeting Job Fair provides the opportunity to meet and collect resumes from many job seekers in a short period of time early in the meeting and the ability to set up private interviews later in the meeting. Participation in the Annual Meeting Job Fair raises the visibility of your organization with meeting participants, who span the gamut of interested job seekers from highly seasoned professionals in the academic or industrial space to freshly minted PhD's and masters students just entering the work force. The event will be broadly advertised, not only to job seekers already signed up with JPS, but also to professionals and students attending the meeting.

As an employer participating in the Annual Meeting Job Fair you will be able to:

  • Provide your materials in a fun and energetic Career Fair-type setting
  • Arrange on-site meetings in private booths
  • Find the professionals you need at all levels from seasoned to entry level - over 4,000 are expected to attend
  • Enjoy a discounted rate if you also registered previously for Analytics Connect, the career event held at each Analytics Conference in the spring

Registration and Payment

Organizations must have registered for the Job Placement Service to take part in the Annual Meeting Job Fair and have signed up either on the registration form or by emailing jps@mail.informs.org. We will provide a table on which you can display informational material, 2 or more chairs, and signage for your organization.
