INFORMS CAP Session
Certified Analytics Professional: CAP After Two Years
Speakers: Polly Mitchell-Guthrie, Moderator, Freeman Marvin (IDI), Scott Nestler (US Army) and Elizabeth Nielsen (Quintiles)
Description: The Certified Analytics Professional (CAP) credential will be two years old in April 2015 and is the only certification developed specifically for analytics professionals in any field who are in a position to manage, direct and/or oversee the management of an analytics project. While there are many analytics masters programs, certificate programs, training, continuing education programs, CAP is the only one that assesses an individual’s knowledge against this industry created benchmark that tests to the same standard irrespective of what program or programs the individual has attended. Given that the exam itself is being administered through computer based testing with international sites, CAP is now poised to become the worldwide standard for analytics practitioners. Come learn more, celebrate with those who have already achieved this distinction, and say Happy Birthday to the program.
