This Project Can’t Fail! …or, at Least, Probably Not

Predicting the success of an analytics initiative is not trivial. In some cases, brilliantly staffed, well-designed projects arrive too late, cost too much, and lack critical adoption. In other cases, bootstrapped efforts with patchwork teams and approaches fundamentally transform organizations. What then, are the factors that predict success? Based on analysis of 200+ projects, this talk will explore attributes and anecdotes to help leaders anticipate safe bets and long odds in future analytics project planning.

Areas of focus include machine learning operations, cognitive automation, and high performance computing. He holds an M.S. in operations research from George Mason University and a B.A. in mathematics from Rutgers University.
