Nashville is most notably known as the center of the music industry, earning it the nickname Music City. Nashville is also a center for the healthcare, banking, and transportation industries and is home to a large number of colleges and universities led by Vanderbilt University. One out of every six hospital beds in the United States is located in Nashville. The city has a vibrant music and entertainment scene spanning a variety of genres. The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, Belcourt Theatre, Ryman Auditorium, Nashville Opera, Music City Drum and Bugle Corps, and Nashville Ballet can all be found in the city. Each year, the CMA Music Festival brings thousands of country fans to Nashville. Numerous music clubs and honky-tonk bars can be found downtown, especially the area often referred to as the District.
