2017 Career Fair
Employers
The 2017 Annual Meeting Career Center and activities provides the employers with the opportunity to meet and collect resumes from numerous job seekers in a short period of time, early in the meeting, and can schedule and set-up private interviews later in the meeting.
- Provide your recruitment materials in a fun and energetic Career Fair-type setting
- Schedule your own on-site interviews at reserved tables or interview booths
- Promote your organization and meet highly qualified, diverse candidates
Employer Registration and Payment
Organizations must register with INFORMS to take part in the Career Center activities at the 2017 Annual Meeting. INFORMS will provide a table on which you can display informational material, two or more chairs, and signage for your organization. Special Platinum and Gold packages are also available which include Interview booth or tables, job posting credits, resume subscriptions, and more. Interview tables or booths for 1 to 3 days can also be added.
Job Seekers
The INFORMS Career Center activities at the Annual Meeting are FREE for individual meeting registrants and are some of our most popular member benefits. Job seekers should register (either active or passive) in INFORMS Career Center so employers will know you are attending. Be sure to post your resume or anonymous career profile that will lead employers to you! Job seekers should review Career Center Resources prior to attending the job fair to make sure your resume and interviewing skills are in tip-top shape.
Individuals participating in the INFORMS Career Center activities like the Job Fair will be able to:
- Gather materials and make vital connections in a fun and energetic Career Fair-type setting
- Meet one-on-one with representatives of top employers who need you
- Research the files of the over 100 top employers expected to participate
- Drop off your resume if you are unable to connect in person with certain employers
- Qualify to have your resume reviewed by veteran INFORMS members
