The 2018 INFORMS Annual Meeting will be held at the Phoenix Convention Center and Hyatt Regency Phoenix. All tracks will be held at the Convention Center, while most special events will be held directly across the street at the Hyatt. More information about the convention center can be found here.

Travel

Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is the main airport for the Greater Phoenix area. The airport is located less than 5 miles from the Phoenix Convention Center.

Getting Around

Valley Metro Light Rail, a driverless people mover – At the airport proceed to Ground Transportation. Board the PHX Airport Shuttle or the Phoenix Sky Train to the Valley Metro Light Rail. Board a westbound train taking you to downtown Phoenix.  De-board at the Washington/3rd Street Station. The Washington/3rd Street stop is adjacent to the Phoenix Convention Center and within walking distance to convention hotels. The cost is $2 per ride, or an all-day pass of $4.   The Valley Metro Light Rail runs from central Phoenix, through downtown, to Tempe and Mesa.

AA Transportation – AAA Yellow Cab Rates to the airport are $15.00 and $17.00 from the airport to the hotel (4-person max). AAA offers sedans, SUV’s, and group transportation on request. Reservations are recommended.

Super Shuttle– Rates to/from the airport $13 each way per passenger. Guests may proceed directly to the hotel pickup area outside the baggage claim.  Super Shuttle is available 24 hours a day, runs constantly, on demand. Reservations required.

Uber Arizona & Lyft– services to and from Downtown Phoenix.
