Bill Franks, Chief Analytics Officer for The International Institute for Analytics (IIA) will present on
The Ethics of Analytics
As more and more data is being collected, concerns are constantly being raised about what data is appropriate to collect and how (or if) it should be analyzed. There are many ethical, privacy, and legal issues to consider and no clear standards exist in many cases as to is fair and what is foul. This means that organizations must consider their own principles and risk tolerance in order to implement the right policies.
We will have a community on INFORMS Connect to meet fellow analytics professionals. Use the discussion feature to ask attendees your most pressing analytics questions. The slides from the presentations will also be located in the library of the group for your access.
When you are filling out the registration form, you may select any of the 13 events. You will receive a confirmation email from both INFORMS and a series of emails from Zoom with a link to each individual presentation.
Registered, but can’t attend?
We know your daily schedule can change on a minute-to-minute basis in this environment. We will send a link to the recording after the presentation, even if you didn’t attend.
